A TASTE OF HOME

"Baan" is the Thai word for home. Ours is in the north of Thailand, where this crispy chili — has been made the same way for generations, just the way my mother made it when I was growing up.

It's slow-cooked and hand-crafted in small batches: crispy chili, crunchy shallots and garlic, balanced so the flavour comes through before the heat. Not aggressively spicy — just crunchy, savoury, and full of the Northern Thai flavours of home.

I started Baan to share that taste of home with New Zealand. Spoon it over rice, noodles, eggs, tacos — whatever's on your plate today.
